In I Corinthians 1:17, Paul is saying, «I did not come to baptize, but to preach the Gospel.» This is one of the verses that’s being used and misused the most when it comes to the importance of baptism. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had people using this verse, together with examples like, «What about the robber on the cross?» and Ephesians 2:8-9, as an attack against the importance of baptism.
In this video, we are going to look at the context of this verse.
See the WHOLE Scriptures all together! Not only one verse here and one there.
Try to take EVERY VERSE in the Bible that talks about baptism – both those that seem for it AND against it – and look at them!
I’ve done a very thorough teaching about baptism (over two hours), where we look at so many verses, and the history behind it. You can see that here:

But first, see this video! Pray God reveals the truth to you, and don’t be deceived as so many people sadly are!
God bless you!
